12.10 COORDINATION OF SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

The Awards Dinner, Welcoming Reception, and Exhibits Reception are the major responsibility of the Social Activities Committee. Other responsibilities include Speaker Breakfasts, Adcom and Conference Board dinners, Technical Committee lunches, and other committee and board lunches and meetings. All social events require considerable coordination with the hotel. As the single point of contact with the hotel, the Local Arrangements Committee is responsible for interfacing between the Social Activities Committee and the hotel.
