The Finance Chairperson is responsible for all financial accounts and
transactions associated with a particular ICASSP. The duties of the Finance
Chairperson start with the preparation of the preliminary budget, and
continue after ICASSP until all ICASSP financial accounts are closed, a
satisfactory professional audit has been completed, and the final financial
report submitted to the Conference Board.
The responsibilities for the Finance Chairperson include:

- Planning all ICASSP finances, including loan scheduling.
- 2.
- Preparing and revising the ICASSP budget, in accordance with IEEE
requirements.
- 3.
- Accepting and accounting for all fees received.
- 4.
- Paying and accounting for all ICASSP expenses.
- 5.
- Ensuring a cash flow adequate to meet ICASSP expenses.
- 6.
- Arranging for the IEEE audit of the ICASSP accounts.
- 7.
- Preparing the final ICASSP Financial report in a timely fashion.
