As the size and popularity of ICASSPs have increased over the years, the membership of the ICASSP Conference Committee has expanded accordingly. We have now reached the point where an additional level of management, intermediate between the Committee Chairpersons and the General Chairperson, is often desirable.
The following executive structure is proposed for the consideration. A Technical Program Executive is delegated authority for the technical program and related matters; The Technical Program Executive supervises the Technical Program Committee, the Publications Committee and the Publicity Committee. A Financial Executive is delegated authority for all financial matters. A Local Arrangements Executive is delegated authority for all other matters; this person supervises the Local Arrangements Committee, the Exhibits Committee, the Registration Committee, the Social Activities Committee, and the International Liaisons.
