The Signal Processing Society has an Executive Officer and an assistant to help administer our Society, communicate with the IEEE, and provide assistance to Society volunteers. See the section on the Executive Officer for names and addresses, etc. The executive office staff have expertise in site selection and contract management. They can be a valuable resource to the ICASSP Committee.
The Executive Officer should review all contracts before they are executed. Contact the Executive Officer very early in the ICASSP planning stages, definitely before the convention center and hotel(s) are selected. A new IEEE rule requires the Society's Executive Officer to be a signatory on the ICASSP bank account.
