The Finance Committee is responsible for all financial accounts and
transactions associated with an ICASSP. The duties of the Finance Committee
start with the preparation of the preliminary budget, and continue after
ICASSP until all ICASSP financial accounts are closed, a satisfactory
professional audit has been completed, and the final financial report
submitted to the Conference Board. The responsibilities for the Finance
Committee include:
- 1.
- Planning all ICASSP finances, including loan scheduling.
- 2.
- Preparing and revising the ICASSP budget, in accordance with IEEE
requirements. (See IEEE Technical Meetings Organization Manual)
- 3.
- Accepting and accounting for all fees received.
- 4.
- Paying and accounting for all ICASSP expenses.
- 5.
- Ensuring an adequate cash flow to meet ICASSP expenses.
- 6.
- Preparing the ICASSP accounts for the IEEE audit.
- 7.
- Preparing the final ICASSP Financial report in a timely fashion.
